Upon closely inspecting this picture, submitted by Eddie Hargrove, I realized that this is a time when the movie theater was still intact. It is also before the downtown fire which destroyed several buildings including the nostalgic skating rink, I think. The old water tower is also in that picture. Thank you for sharing these pieces of Goree's past.

Downtown~'77 or '78
