Quilt & Cookin' Show

The Knox County Cotton Pickin' Quilt Show and Cookin' Show is Sat., Feb. 23 at the old Goree school bldg. It is from 9am to 3pm. Hope some of you can make it to the show. In Loving Memory...


SEYMOUR — Wally Roberts, 87, of Goree died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, in Seymour.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Weinert with Benny Archer officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home in Seymour.

Mr. Roberts was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Clistene RuDel Roberts; his daughter, Ina Laney of Weinert; his son, Samuel Warren Roberts of Rhome, Texas; his brothers, James Franklin Roberts of Arlington, Texas, Billy Joe Roberts of Hurst, Texas and Kenneth Woodrow Roberts of Plainview, Texas; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Hospice.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
