In Loving Memory~John 'Perk' Hudson

John Perry “Perk” Hudson 81,
passed away March 14th, Satur-
day, 2009. He was born August
11,1927 in Hefner, Texas to Jerry
and Roberta Bailey Hudson. He
attended Goree Schools.

Perk served in the United States
Army during World War II, and a
retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife Fern
Van Dyke Hudson of Fairfield; sons
-Bill and Kim Hudson of Sadler,
Texas and Ken and Stephanie Van
Dyke of Nacogdoches; daughters
-Anita Rae and Bill Jacobs of
Lake Dallas, Michell Van Dyke of
Longview, Bobbie and Bob Gandy
of Grandview, Vickie Denman
Cox of Grandview and Laurie and
David Gipe of Sugar Land, Texas;
sister -Eva Marie (Sue) Baker of
Whitehouse; 7 grandchildren and
3 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held Monday,
March 16th at Griffin-Roughton
Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00
p.m.

Funeral services were held
Tuesday, March 17th at Griffin-
Roughton Funeral Home, Fair-
field at 10:00 a.m., with Rev.
Ward Hudson officiating. Intern-
ment was held at the Old Hall
Cemetery at Lewisville, Texas.
