Halfway between Wichita Falls & Abilene. Still don't get it? Then halfway between Dallas/FtWth and Lubbock. We're the closest town to the lake, Miller Creek Reservoir, where there is great fishin' and fun.

I will have to look for the article that Wynelle Hellums wrote when she was in High School. She gave it to me and I have it somewhere and if I come across it I will send it to you. Mr. Hellums was a mail carrier in Goree and then moved to Haskell and was the mail carrier for my parents for years, but worked out of the Weinert Post Office.
