In Loving Memory~Sherry King

Sherry Haskin King, 71, of Wichita Falls, died Monday, August 17, 2009.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at the sanctuary of Faith Baptist Church of Wichita Falls, with Pastor Craig Lile and the Rev. Harvey McMurry, officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

A daughter of the late Delmer and Margaret L. “Bobbie” (Bingham) Haskin, she was born September 27, 1937, in Goree, Texas. On September 27, 1957, she married Pat King in Wichita Falls. Mrs. King was a long time member of Faith Baptist Church of Wichita Falls. She worked in banking for over twenty years and retired from Bank of America. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Calbert Haskin.

Survivors include her husband, Pat King of Wichita Falls; son, Robbie King and wife, Diana of Wichita Falls; daughter, Teena Stephens and husband, Franz of Burkburnett; sister, Candy Estes of Goree; granddaughter, Carla King; grandsons, Austin Crook, Justin Crook and Colin Stephens.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Todd Gittings, Wade Haskin, Mark Haskin, Tony Sterling, Jimmy Routon, and Jan Jones.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

For those desiring, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to: Hospice of Wichita Falls or to Faith Baptist Church of Wichita Falls.
